My name is Mark Narain. I’m a business leader with deep roots in finance and operations, now searching for a company to buy and operate for the long term.

For over 15 years, I’ve helped businesses grow by building systems that improve decision-making and financial clarity. At companies like Fox and DIRECTV, I led initiatives supporting pricing, deal strategy, and operations. Most recently, I led strategic finance efforts at Sony Pictures, supporting global content licensing and helping the business align planning and forecasting to make faster and better decisions.

I began my career working for family-owned businesses, Martin Brass Foundry and Storm Industries, where I developed a deep appreciation for the pride, grit, and long-term commitment that owners bring to their work.

I’m known for staying calm under pressure and managing complex projects without losing focus. Colleagues value my collaborative style, strategic mindset, and commitment to mentorship. Helping others grow is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I was raised in Hawthorne, California, in a working-class family that valued hard work, integrity, and ingenuity. I studied economics at UCLA and later earned my MBA from Harvard Business School. Those experiences sharpened how I think, but the values I bring to business were shaped much earlier in my home, with hands-on experience and wisdom from people who found purpose in hard work.
